Bears for St John

A bagful of knitted teddy bears was recently donated to Waroona St John Ambulance. Made by Coral Culling on behalf of the Trefil Guild - part of the Guides Association - the teddies are given by Ambulance Officers to young kiddies who may be in need of comfort. There have also been occasions when elderly folk have enjoyed a 'teddy cuddle'.

Coral is still busy knitting teddies, this time for the Royal Flying Doctor Service who use them for the same purpose.

The Girl Guide Association has been making contributions of this sort for more than 15 years and it is an ongoing service.

Any offerings of wool or stuffing will be gratefully accepted - these can be dropped off at the Telecentre.
