First Aid Courses Available in 20082nd February, 2008

Each year, Waroona Sub Centre offers several First Aid Courses of varying levels and skills. With the Waroona Sub Centre servicing not just Waroona but also Preston and Lake Clifton, help can be up to almost an hour away. In times such as these, having even basic First Aid training could mean the difference between life and death for someone.

If you already have a First Aid qualification, a point to consider is how long you have had it. A First Aid qualification lasts around 3 years, before it becomes invalid. While you may still be confident that you remember what you learned 3 years ago, health and safety, as well as correct procedures are constantly changing as more information is discovered about the human body and how treatments and processes can affect circumstances. It is therefore recommended that you renew your qualification as soon as it becomes invalid.

Courses are competitively priced, and are run all through the year. For a full listing of upcoming First Aid Courses along with the dates, times and prices, have a look at our First Aid Courses page. We look forward to seeing you there.
