Do I have to help people?
If I am a qualified First Aider, and I come across someone who is in need of help, do I have to help them?
You are under no legal obligation to help them, unless you identify yourself as a First Aider.
We hope that you do help them of course, though we understand that there are times when you may not feel confident enough in putting your training into practice.
As soon as you have identified yourself as a First Aider, you do have a duty of care to help the injured person(s).
