Should I move them?

There is someone lying on their back, unconcious, with a broken arm/leg. I shouldn't move them should I?

We do not move someone unless we really have to. We treat them very gently with broken limbs, but they will not necessarily die from those injuries in the short term.

However, if we do not look after the airway and it is not clear, we can lose our patient in 3 to 4 minutes.

Be aware of any injuries, move them very gently with help if you have it, but they MUST go over into the Recovery Position. THEN you can treat any injuries you have found.
