Australia Day Celebrations 200826th January, 2008

The Waroona Sub Centre took part in the Australia Day Parade celebrations held in Waroona, which saw approximately 100 people enjoying the spectacle as the Police, Fire Brigade, and Ambulance toured the street with lights and sirens. The tour started at the Town Oval, headed along Hesse St, then Henning, travelling past Pam Corker House on Eastcott St. Turning on to Sutton St, the convoy headed back down Millar St and back in to the Oval ready for the Australia Day speeches and awards.

Murray Henderson, a life member of the Waroona Ambulance, received an award for his commitment and service to the local community over the last 30 years, so congratulations to Murray. (Centre Back Row)
