ILUKA & First Aid Training17th July, 2008
LEARN TO SAVE A LIFE FOR FREE ILUKA and St John Ambulance will join forces in October to offer the Waroona community free senior first aid training. Iluka will fund a senior first aid course to be held at, and run by, the St John Waroona sub-centre from October 21 to 23. Participants will learn life saving skills such as CPR and how to respond in a medical emergency before ambulance help arrives. National Youth Week - Action Day18th April, 2008

The All Aussie Classic Car Show 200813th April, 2008
This great Aussie Classic Car show will be held on the Waroona Town Oval on the 13th April, from 9.30am to 4.30pm. This will be a huge event for Holden enthusiasts and is expected to attract up to 500 Aussie Classics. Australia Day Celebrations 200826th January, 2008
The Waroona Sub Centre took part in the Australia Day Parade celebrations held in Waroona, which saw approximately 100 people enjoying the spectacle as the Police, Fire Brigade, and Ambulance toured the street with lights and sirens. Waroona Show 200716th October, 2007
The 77th annual show in Waroona was another great success, with yet another great turn out of people from all over the state. The weather was great, the food was good and there was a great community atmosphere around the place. Silver Threads Band Comes to Waroona9th July, 2007
About 80 people thoroughly enjoyed the Brass Band Concert which was staged as a thank-you to the people of Waroona for their generosity in giving to the Salvation Army Red Shield Appeal. The band led by Irwin Palmer presented a fine selection of music, from medleys of Scottish tunes, Strauss, popular hymns and stirring melodies from years gone by.
